First spring Break!

Daylynn's first spring break I'd say was a success, seeing as your only 4 months can't do too much :)

Friday night we went up to Illinois to meet some more family. Came back Sunday night (quick trip) but you are such a great traveler and I knock on wood while saying this.

Then we spent the next few days and Grandma and Grandpas. It was pretty relaxing which was nice. You did, however, have a few not so fun days. I think you were teething because everything was being chewed on and it still wasn't satisfying you, that or the gas returned. You were a gas newbie but it was much better but maybe this week wasn't your week. We decided to come home Thursday so we could see dad and get back to routine hoping that'd get you back to your happy self. Friday started out good then we had some serious crying and fighting your nap. Mom had to resort to the drivin,g around method, and it worked. You finally got a great nap in and soon after we're ready for bed. 

Speaking of bed, there's a whole new subject. hYou aren't sleeping very well at night. I'm lucky if you sleep for a 3 hour stretch. It may be the sleep regression I'm not sure but it is no fun. You are starving when you wake up. Sometimes I can get another hour by putting your paci back I but eventually your up and hungry.  I've started the last few nights to do the cry it out and then come back in and rub your back and then let you fall asleep and its worked but you still only sleep for 3-4 hours. I'm ready for the 6 hours even 5 would do.

This past week you've started some new things, sitting up on your own! Sometimes you still are pretty much eating your toes but you normally are a big girl!  You have also started this squeal/screech when you talk. It's quite possibly the cutest thing. I record it and play it back and you just start laughing. You are starting to fight the diaper changes, not so fun for mom. I feel like I have to tie you down with my legs to get it back on. You are definitely a mamas girl. It's pretty funny, you can't put your arms out but you just look at me and start sticking that lip out and pouting. Not gonna lie, I love it :) 

Tomorrow you get your shots and we find of
ut how big you are! I can't wait because I can tell you are gaining. Dad says you have gained over the week. :)

Iowa/Illinois

What a weekend we have had! Spring break started Friday evening, we left Great Bend to head to Grandma and Grandpas. A hour or so after we got there your aunt Jess, cousin Addi, and uncle Brennan and us took off for Illinois. You did awesome! I think it helped driving through the night soyou slept the whole way! Good job punkin! 

Lets see we got in about 4 and gave you a bottle and you went back down. You got up pretty early so mama didnt get much sleep. We then just spent the morning withMolly, Brandy, Sophia, and Jack. Sophia is stinking cute and you both were pretty amazed by each other. Then we metup with Grandpa Chuck and went to the mall to hang out. We had to get some Whiteys ice cream. mmmm moms favorite! Then we went to the hotel and went swimming. :) She loves swimming and we finally got you an adorable swim suit! Happy early Easter :) Grandma Tanji always got me a swim suit every Easter and Im going to do the same.

Yesterday we got up and swam some more. Then we went to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Hanson. They loved you, but who doesnt :) We then said our see ya laters to them and stopped back by Mollys. Then on our way out of town we stopped by Angies. She is pretty much another aunt to you. We miss them.

Then we hit the road again. You did awesome again but it was still another long night for mom. 

 Now were just hanging out at granma andgranpas for the week. 

4 months!

This last 4 months have flown by and you have changed so incredibly much, it is crazy! 

A huge milestone this past month, well really few weeks, is you are rolling! You have done this a few times previously but now it is a continuous thing. We put you on your back and you roll straight to your belly. I always fear your firsts will be at daycare when I am not there but this one I for sure got to see first :) You were so excited about it to :)

You are quite the chatterbug and wejust love hearing you sing and your stories. My favorite is in the morning on our way to school you love singing to me! 

We got you a bounce thing that you stand in because you would rather be up and aware of whats going on instead of laying down, such a big girl you are! You can also stand up holding onto the toybox. 

Last weekend we went back to Grandma and Grandpas to see Aunt Jess and your cousin Addi. Im so glad they are back in KS. Addi cant get enough of "her baby" which is you. You love her and are in awe around her, you two will be close, im sure of it.  Next weekend we go on your first BIG roadtrip up to Iowa to meet some more family and friends. 

It is starting to get nice so we get to go for walks again! You love it so much you fall asleep :)

Im pretty sure you are teething because your gums are changing. You love chewing on our fingers. 

We go to the doctor soon for your shots and check up. Youre growing so fast I am curious how big you are. we weigh you on our acale but never sure how correct it is.
